I’m always trying to find new ways to make the standard “click to reveal” elearning interaction more interesting. So, I started playing around with the idea of “sliding blocks” in Articulate Storyline. Once I got the blocks to “slide open” and reveal information the way I imagined, I set about trying to find a way to “close” them and return the blocks to their starting position. It required rebuilding and experimenting a few times to get it just right. Below you’ll see a video that shows the finished slide in action.
The result is pretty nifty. Check out the demo here.
If you are interested in using and/or modifying this interaction for your own purposes, feel free to download the Articulate Storyline (.story) source file below. This interaction was built in Storyline 360 and should work in Storyline 3 as well.
